This wonderful patient came in with a general desire to improve the cosmetics of her smile. After a discussion with the patient about her goals, we decided to proceed with Sheer White strip tooth whitening. After achieving a brighter shade, we had my lab fabricate Lava crown to replace her two front teeth. She wasn't looking for a drastic change but an esthetic tweak. The thing I like about the final result in this case is that it still looks like "her" while raising the esthetic value of her smile. I got a big hug after this was over! I love my job.
bill came to me last year with multiple issues. he was very unhappy with his teeth and was unable to smile. his main complaints related to the dark color of his teeth and the unusual spacing. after a consultation explaining the need for improved home care, considerations of his diet and recommendation to quit smoking, i came up with a treatment plan involving crowns on his top front teeth. there are still more issues to be addressed, however, bill has no trouble expressing his appreciation and happiness.
